CAB's Peace Committee Event: "Glory to Ukraine, Glory to the Heroes!"

Please save the date for the Peace Committee’s Event, “Glory to Ukraine, Glory to the Heroes!”

The Peace Committee hopes to spread awareness and educate students on the War on Ukraine currently happening. This includes learning about the history and context of the war, learning culturally significant symbolism, celebrating Ukraine's efforts of Russian Independence, and providing resources that students/faculty/staff can readily use to help Ukrainians. There will be two donation boxes, which will be sent to Ukraine from RocMaidan. One donation box will be available on the Brighton Campus in the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development, Building 3, Room 126, from 8:45am to 4:45pm, Monday thru Friday. The other donation box will be available at the Downtown Campus in the Student Service Center, 3rd Floor, Suite 310. Any of the following items would be greatly appreciated:

  • New Thermal Underwear/socks
  • Sleeping bags
  • Gloves, hats, scarves, warm clothing
  • Over the counter pain medicine (Advil/Ibuprofen, Tylenol/Acetaminophen)
  • Cold/flu medicine
  • Child and adult diapers
  • Walkers
  • Crutches
  • Wheelchairs
